All forms of press and media coverage must be specific when describing the ethnicity of perpetrators who commit disgusting crimes such as the child abuse cases in Rotherham and Rochdale.

Using the term Asian includes many ethnic origins and leaves the non-offending origins open to discrimination and incorrect categorisation.
