Petition Employees working on computers should get an eye care allowance

Using a computer all day can and does cause problems for your eyes!

As it is compulsory to use a computer in most working environments it should also be compulsory for the employer to subsidise their staff’s eye care costs.

Many people can't afford eye care and should not have to pay out of their own pocket when it is caused from work.

I ask our government to make it compulsory for businesses to provide their employees one annual free eye test free of charge and £100.00 towards any treatment if it is needed.

Employers should also have the right for such treatment to be regulated as to avoid people claiming fraudulently.
