If the forthcoming vote in Scotland rules in favour of devolution from the rest of the UK, I believe the UK should revert to British Double Summer time in the summer and current British Summer time in the winter.

There would be less energy consumption as we would be making the most of the daylight and natural resources.

It is time for the standard day to fit the majority, not the remote few.
