Petition Keep the last Battle of Britain Hurricane in the UK

The last airworthy Hawker Hurricane that took part in the Battle of Britain is being advertsied for sale via an American dealership, it would be a tragedy if this historic aricraft was allowed to leave this country.

I believe it should be purchaed for the nation and made part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Conningsby.

The cost is a mere £2.5 Million. A small price to pay to commemorate the "forgotten" pilots of Hurricanes who contribute so much in the defence of this country
