Irlen syndrome which is also known as Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome is a visual perception disorder which affects how our brain processes the information.
Irlen Syndrome affects many people like myself which can coexist with other conditions such as autism, dyspraxia but irlen need to be recognised as early as possible so can be treated with irlen filters.
Here are a some symptoms of irlen

Glare
But irlen is far more than reading issues it affects our perception such as light sensitivity.
Someone experiences flickering flashes and anything bright hurts your eyes but you find your having lots of migraines.
Someone using coloured paper/overlays also indicates irlen syndrome.
This petition is to get the government to look into this condition and get it well recognised everywhere.
