Rejected petition Special Needs Pre-School & School Places (Northern Ireland)

This E-petition is to try and get funding put in place for current special needs schools to run, build and open pre school departments as well as making more spaces available for children with special needs of all ages.

There is a severe lack of places in Northern Ireland for children who have special needs particularly for the pre school age when early intervention is essential.

Currently a lot of children still have no place allocated for this year and no idea when a place will be given to them or if they even will get one this year.

Speaking on behalf of parents and guardians who are currently facing this problem I request that more options are made available for our children as every child is entitled to an education regardless of their disability.
