It is common knowledge that Jobseekers can be (and frequently are) sanctioned for ridiculous and unsupportable reasons. To recognise the additional seasonal pressures upon busy Jobcentre staff, stressed employers and job seekers themselves, a "sanction holiday" would improve Xmas for all concerned.
