Closed petition We want antenatal day units to have the full ctg monitors that they have in the labour wards which monitor both mum and babies heart rate on them

Closed on

On the 4th of April 2014 our precious son Harrison was born sleeping at 37weeks pregnant he was our 5th baby and was born weighing 7lb 4oz and perfect, i was in the hospital the night before when movements were slowing contractions were happening yet was sent home saying hes fine i then returned the following morning then movements were completely stopped!..me and my husband were still being told for hours whilst attached to the basic ctg monitors in the day unit he's fine..a scan seconds later revealed he had died, the monitor was tracing my heart rate which was high and that was mistaken for his! In the labour wards the ctg monitors have mother and baby's heart rates attached, I call for these to be in andu as well! we deserve to be monitored fully! if they were Harrison would still be here today! I can't change that but together we can prevent this happening to others!
