Closed petition All Children teenagers with type 1 diabetes should have the right to DLA and Personal independent payment

I am a mother of a type 1 Diabetic, my son Taylor was diagnosed at 13 years old three years ago, along with thousands of other parents who struggle daily with helping their children-teens manage this chronic condition that has no break from multiple daily injections, finger pricks, managing and checking insulin changes daily and the fear and worry everyday of your child slipping into diabetic ketoacidosis coma, or severe Hypoglycemia seizure which happened to my son recently, there is also financial costs of keeping up their hypo kits for home, family and while they are at school or college . But mostly the emotional strain this condition carry's with it, of the fear of lose of health the burden to carry this weight on your shoulder every day ruins quality of life .We strongly believe that our children should have the right to help
From DLA or PIP to help manage this chronic condition.
