The Government is to set-up an on-line facility that permits any person paying income tax to express their preference for the proportion of Government spending allocated to each department. Furthermore, the individual taxpayer preferences are to be summated to provide an overall indication of the UK income tax payers' preference for Government spending allocations.The overall income tax payer preference is to be published alongside the Government spending plans in the budget.
