Petition No to a communist Hong Kong

More details

After a week's peaceful protest against China’s proposal of a restrictive election reform, on 28th Sept, 60,000 unarmed demonstrators were repelled by unnecessary force by the Hong Kong Police.

Given the PRC's records of political prosecution and even massacre, we fear the HK Police are ordered to perform political duties against their will to the people of Hong Kong.

The invisible hand of the PRC Communist regime is infiltrating into Hong Kong's government, education, culture, and all walks of lives. Hong Kong’s prosperity, stability and way of life, as much honoured in the Sino-British Joint Declaration, is severely at stake.

We urge the UK government to:
1. press Beijing to grant Hong Kong a true, unbiased democratic election of the Chief Executive
2. express strong concern to the Beijing authorities of the situation in HK and impose possible sanctions if situation deteriorates
3. make a full review of the implementation of the Sino-British Joint Declaration
