The gruesome murder of Alan Henning will leave us all stunned. But let's not forget the reason why this man was in this position, he felt a real needed to help these people who have been put in dire need by war. This mans humanitarianism should be applauded and recognised by the our government. I call on the Queen and this Government to make a posthumous award to Alan in recognition of the compassion of the man.
