Punctuality and Attendance should be kept separate and be dealt with by schools accordingly.
The new policy states if you are late then you are marked down with an unauthorised absence which is ludicrous as you are actually sat there.
This affects your attendance figure and show's false attendance statistics for the school.
This has to stop now and go back to being the way it was before. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
Some of your policies affect the very people you are suppose to protect and that is the children.
