This veteran aircraft, one of only two airworthy Lancasters left, recently crossed the Atlantic to the UK.
It performed flawlessly, in company with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster until suffering an engine failure. In order to continue it's programme it was forced to 'borrow' an engine from the BBMF, for which it is being charged by the MOD.
In view of the sacrifices made by the Canadians in WWII cannot the UK government donate the 'borrowed' engine at no cost to the Canadians?
