Rejected petition allow under 35s single flat rental rate

More details

Currently single under 35's are only allowed housing benefit to the 30th percentile of shared accommodation rate, where homes are not available and those that are have become severely overcrowded rat infested holes with really bad tennants and are not suitable for young people with potential for the future. the 30th percentile is also calculated from council housing and charity housing prices, but youth are only able to get private rental so this really messes things up.

No special circumstances are accepted at present such as single people with special needs such as depression, or having a child which needs to visit occasionally and a clean environment is required to be able to do this. Single flats are available at the 30th percentile within that housing benefit rate, but this rate is only allowed to over 35s who are less likely to find jobs and just become a drain on society, at this point it is too late.
