The maximum jail sentence for a person/s is 14 years, I belive this should be raised to 20 years. This is because paedophiles ruin children's life's and they're familys, but are only sentenced to a max of 14 years meaning that once they are released the child can possibly still be under the age of 18 causing the child and the family to live in fear.
