Rejected petition Stop Liverpool City Council charging for parking permits in Anfield Everton and Walton

More details

Liverpool City Council are trying to charge residents who live around Anfield Football Club and Everton Football Club for parking permits at the moment we do not have to pay for these permits so why should we be punished financially it could cost some families upto £200 a year depending on how many cars are in your household we are being unfairly prejudiced because we happen to live near these Football grounds as residents we have to put up with the inconvenience the vast amount of traffic causes on match days and now Liverpool City Council want to add insult to injury and want us as residents to pay the main people that benefit from match days are Liverpool and Everton Football Clubs not us as residents so why cant the council charge these clubs instead we already pay car tax and council tax now theres another tax (parking tax) we should not be punished because we happen to live near to these grounds and like myself there are many people that have no interest in football
