Big multi-national corporations routinely (and legally) reduce their corporation tax bills by the use of tax-haven states to host their corporate headquarters.

The government should abolish corporation tax and introduce a Corporate Revenue Tax (CRT).

The treasury would set the thresholds, rates, and industrial/commercial classes for taxation.

HMRC would be responsible for collection as well as for classification disputes.
