Petition Fire Safety Improvements For Animal Premises
More details
After the recent catastrophe at Manchester Dogs Home something needs to be put in place to safeguard the welfare of animals being held in homes, kennels, catteries, stables and other animal premises.
This e-petition will be to raise some of the following points:
• Improvements into the Fire Safety review for animals welfare and not just people
• To get licencing changed so new premises have to have sprinkler systems installed to stop these catastrophes happening again.
• To review how local councils audit and assess these current properties
• To raise properties with local fire and rescue services for fire safety inspections into these properties
• How existing properties can be supported further in retrofitting sprinkler systems
We are a nation of pet lovers so lets learn from the past and make tomorrow a better, safer environment for our pets.
