Closed petition for local coucils to scan deceased cats and keep a log of all pickedup

on sept 29 2014 my chipped cat was found deceased on rd and picked up by council. wen i realised he was missing i rang them they said they hadnt picked him up. this was at 11am 30 sept.later that day i was told that he was picked up by them at 8.15am by a neighbour. i rang them back and 5/6 calls later found out they did have him all i wanted was to bring him home to bury. the man who had him wasnt answering mobile or emails i was told he would ring me within the hr. 4 hrs later after i visited depot to find out what was going on i got a call to say they.d put him in the bin. no scanning for chip no log of any description. please sign to ensure cats are scanned and held for 7 days so owners can find out and not have their pets diposed of like rubbish thankyou
