Petition Ban Internet Explorer for the good of our digital economy
More details
Given the measurable time impact to the UK digital industry of supporting Microsoft's Internet Explorer, the software should be banned for use within the UK, thereby enabling UK companies to innovate new functionality faster or in a more cost efficient way.
Alternatively, consider mandating a national tax that has to be applied by service providers to anyone using Internet Explorer. Have the money go to paying for improved broadband access nationally, or computers for the less fortunate, anything - but let's stop the UK using this outdated and buggy browser.
