Rejected petition stop unfair t-mobile early termination fee

Would like an end to the unfair practice of early termination fees when you simply want to end your contract at the end of your contract (& keep number to port to new network) and the bad practice at T-mobile not giving correct information.
As advised by T-mobile staff that you need to call 30 days before end of your contract to give the 30 days notice and get PAC code then to avoid early termination fee. Many of us do this yet we are all still charged an early termination fee in one form or another.
People who have given notice 30 days before end of contract as required and paid their bill that covers the 24th month of line rental why are they being penalized for moving? Some are even being charged even if they leave perfectly at the last day of their contract.
A more defined and simpler system for customers to end contracts on last day and port numbers to new network needs to be recognized and resolved. See: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=4363143&page=3.
