Petition Sentencing Multipliers and Cost Effective Punishment

I would like to see a sentencing multiplier introduced. This would apply to the sentencing guidelines laid down to the courts. Once an offender has committed a second crime and been found guilty, the periods laid out in the guidelines should be doubled. Third crime tripled, etc. This could apply to both fines and custodial sentences. Once criminals are incarcerated, they sould be made to carry out productive work to pay for their meals and board. Prison need sto stop being a cusy play station fuelled holiday.
