Petition Cyclists are not being controlled by the Police ?

Laws if not controlled by the Police should be Removed from the books, at this time more and more Cyclists are NOT abiding to the Highway Code as they should and Break many Laws plus put people on foot at risk as they have NO i/d to say who they are and would be gone if they hit someone, this should be amended in Law.

At this time they avoid red lights by riding either through them or up on the footpath and so jump them, they race down footpaths at speed against people walking causing a danger, they ride across foot only crossings, against traffic, all of which is against the Law, the penalty for riding on a footpath is £500 at this time, it makes the system an ASS as disabled scooters have a limit of 4mph, bikes can do around 30mph on footpaths, where is the sense in this.
