Petition Limit the use of fireworks and the sale to public events

More details

Following recent religious extremism, with the availability of fireworks, the means to create havoc amongst the general public is becoming an unacceptable risk.

While not trying to prevent fireworks limit the use of fireworks and the sale of them to organisers of public events that are regulated and operated within Health & Safety guidelines.

The problem of freely available and virtually unregulated sale of these could lead to stockpiling by extremist groups for use against civilised society.

The regulations were changed at airports to reduce the risks to the public, and now there should be changes to the sale and use of fireworks.
