In light of the current London rioting, this is a petition to arm all police officers and authorise the use of force.

The 'Youth of today' have no respect for law and order as there is no deterrent. By arming police and authorising the use of force they would think twice, and as such this would dramatically improve the quality of life for the majority of law-abiding citizens in the country.
