When a tenant is, rightly or wrongly, given notice to evict a property by the courts and are in the process of seeking advice and help the High Courts can step in and send balifs to evict at an earlier and unexpected date leaving many people and children on the streets and homeless as the council cannot and will not help without a letter stating an eviction date. It is not much to ask of the High Courts to send notification that the eviction date is to be sooner so people can be prepared.
