Rejected petition ban the use of fireworks other than permitted days

More details

to ban the use of fireworks being used in residential areas and by the public in general other than on bonfire night and new years eve. for the sole purpose that it's cruel to dogs and other animals who suffer terrible effects from the noise, how this isnt a breach of animal cruelty i dont know, dogs ears are so sensitive that it must be absolutely horrific for dogs to go through. im all for fun but fireworks being allowed on any day of the week is just not on, we have fireworks being set off from october through until febuary which puts un neccesary stress on any animal and the elderley alike, not to mention children who dont like them or ones that have disabilities and cant tolerate them and are subject to what must seem like torture for months
