Rejected petition Allow Police to Water Cannon violent protestors

Following the recent behaviour witnessed in London it is about time the Police are allowed to use water cannons to disperse protestors who resort to violence.
I'm sure no one wants to riot when soaking wet and this course of action would also have the additional bonus of meaning protestors would not be able to light matches or other inflammable objects, devices etc.
