Petition regarding the risks posed to people with faulty smartphone chargers. These chargers are imported from other countries and pose a risk of fire to users who are unaware off this. This is due to important safety regulations being missed and counterfeit CE marks being placed on the charger. The government should make sure these chargers are checked to see if they meet safety standards and if not refuse them entry in the UK.
