Rejected petition Extend Dangerous Danny's Sentence

More details

17-year-old Alim Uddin was brutally murdered on the 4th May 2014 by 16-year-old Danny Drake whom planned this killing. Alim went alone to meet Danny and when he did, he was stabbed to death repeatedly.

Alim's friends and family have been left devastated over the loss of the 6th former that had such a promising future ahead of him and want to see justice.

Dangerous Danny was sentenced to 13 years, in 13 years time he 29 and will be released and can continue to live a normal life. Whilst all that knew Alim will still live in a turbulent life of devastation due to this utter lack of Justice.

Our wish is for Danny to have his sentence extended and the other unknown people whom were there to be found and also brought to justice.

We will not rest until we know this dangerous killer is going to be in prison for a very long time and only then we will feel as if there is some fairness in the justice system in the UK.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

Sentences that appear to be unduly lenient cannot be referred through the E-Petitions website. If you believe a sentence given in a Crown Court appears to be very low, or unduly lenient, anyone can contact the Attorney General's office asking for the sentence to be reviewed as long as it is within 28 days of sentencing. It also only takes one person to make such a request.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
