In the new world of pensions after April 2016 the method of calculating pension entitlement changes.

If you have paid full National Insurance Contributions for 35 years you get the full weekly amount, currently estimated at £148.40 per week, Right?..WRONG

For example:
1. 35 years worked full NIC contribution..no other years worked - full pension of £148.40
2. 35 years worked full NIC contribution.10 additional years worked contracted out - reduced pension of £113.10.

The calculations must be changed to reflect that if you have put in 35 years full contributions you get the full pension regardless how many years you were contracted out.
