Petition Scottish Independence Referendum and EU Membership
More details
This petition proposes that a second Scottish independence referendum is held after any European Union membership referendum resulting in the United Kingdom leaving the EU.
The petition is asking the UK Government, either before or after, the 2015 General Election, to legislate for a second Scottish independence referendum should the United Kingdom vote to leave the European Union as a nation, however Scotland votes to remain a member state of the EU. This second referendum should take place within two years of any vote for the UK to leave the EU and before the following General Election.
This petition closed early because of a General Election
