Lively Lady is part of the British maritime heritage, having been sailed around the world by Alec Rose, at the time a local green grocer. The yacht is currently berthed in Port Solent Hampshire with money raising signs on it.

The yacht should be taken up by the Nation Lottery Fund or the National Trust and repaired/restored and moored at Greenwich or in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard
