This petition is to ban the taking of fish from rivers, lakes and canals and to educate other anglers about the value of our sport and to preserve our rivers

the current bylaws set by the Enviromental agency allow the taking of fish from rivers, lakes and canals.

These state that;

15 pike, grayling, barbel, chub, common bream, common carp, crucian carp, Dace, perch, roach, Rudd, silver bream, smelt, tench and any hybrids of these species less than 20cm can be taken per day.

2 grayling between 30 and 38 cm per day

One pike less than 65cm per day.

There are NO restrictions on the number of other course fish that can be taken per day.
