Ban councils and local transport groups from introducing any changes to road infrastructure which require long term road works, reductions in road capacity and any developments that are disruptive and cause long delays for commuters trying to get to and from work, school and normal business in a reasonable amount of time. The Salford and Manchester areas are a gridlocked nightmare, causing a great deal of stress to drivers and putting jobs at risk. Roads need to be free flowing as far as possible, not clogged up because of multiple ongoing road works for unwanted schemes.
