Rejected petition In Rememberance Of A Saviour.
More details
This time of year, we all come together in celebration of Jesus, Mithras, Dies Natalis Solis Invicti or good old fashioned Capitalism.
Though each of these reflect a saviour or belief in one way or another, I can't help feel that the most important and absolute embodiment of all that is good and righteous is being overlooked and marginalised, in favour of cultural and historical bias.
Those who lead Britain to the forefront of the 21st Century cite pride in our Nation being Multicultural and dynamic.
If we are truly a populace of diversity, I appeal for the creation of a new public holiday, in celebration of the birth of an unparalleled saviour - One who not only sacrificed himself for humanity's transgressions, but does so each and every night, only to rise again and confront corruption wherever it may linger, revealing the potential and strength of a single person .
I refer to The Batman.
I look forward to wishing you all a happy BatDay come February 19th, 2015.
