People wishing to reside in the UK permanently and want to drive HGV should have to pass a UK HGV test. This is in my opinion is a health and safety issue.
Drivers need to prove that they have the necessary skills and ability to pass A UK HGV test, and in the eyes of the law are safe to drive on UK roads.
