Petition Increase the availability of termination clinics in the north east

Currently, people living in the north east of the UK may have to travel over 65 miles each way to reach a safe and legal abortion clinic, not only costing thousands of vulnerable women their time, but also a huge amount of money.

There are many reasons why a woman might decide to have an abortion including:

personal circumstances - including risk to the wellbeing of existing children
a health risk to the mother
a high probability that the baby will have a serious abnormality - either genetic or physical

Why hinder a women's ability to access SAFE and LEGAL unplanned pregnancy services because of where she lives? There need to be more clinics open between Hull - Leeds. Please sign.
