Petition Balanced view Petitions
More details
All petitions 'e' or paper should provide an equal opportunity to register the opposite view.
I suggest that after signing a petition there are two tick boxes, one saying 'I support this petition' and the other saying 'I oppose this petition.'
This would be especially relevant when stopped in the street or spammed online, to sign something with which you disagree.
It should then be a criminal offence to distort the results of a petition by deliberately destroying entries of one view.
Unfortunately I will never know how many people think this is a bad idea.
Please spare a minute to sign in support of this petition.
