On January 10th, Plymouths Evening Herald reported that due to the latest round of defence cuts; Stonehouse Barracks could be become flats by 2018. Stonehouse RMB is home to 3 Commando brigade, 30 Commando IX Group, COMUKTG and more. Royal Marines have been based in Storehouse Barracks since 1780 and is the only remaining original site. As Royals we need to save this site and protect the home of the Royal Marines.
