As a victim of theft last year, I was shocked that police in London didn’t have the manpower to retrieve stolen property which included an iPad which was transmitting its location.

Cutbacks do have consequences when police numbers are reduced. ‘Petty’ crime becomes less of a priority and worse still police officers become targets themselves when forced to go out onto the streets in reduced numbers.

I want government to reverse police cuts.
