Rejected petition Creme Eggs
More details
Modelez International are threatening an UK institution.
For decades Cadbury produced Creme Eggs with a shell of Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate.
This year, not only have the dastardly new owners shrunk the eggs, they have started to market them in five packs instead of sixes, and, most importantly are using a shell of 'generic' chocolate instead of the proper Cadbury's Dairy Milk Chocolate.
It was bad enough when Cadbury's were bought out by a non UK Company, with no understanding of UK culture, but this is the final straw.
This Petition is intended to bring about debate in Parliament. There should be a bill to create a standard National Specification for Creme Eggs or otherwise insist on the restoration of the standard that the County expects both in terms of size and shell content.
This petition may well be thwarting a Soviet other Nation's plot to undermine the spirit, culture, morale or economy of the Nation with this dire action.
