We demand that at as a minimum, all slip roads street lights are turned on. Regardless of administrative boundary, the Department of Transport needs to have powers to demand or needs to use the powers available to it to prevent local authorities from reducing visability.

Quoting 'revenue savings' is not credible, lighting along highways is what we pay our taxes for and is a mainstream activity.

We demand that along the M65 the Department of Transport insists that all local authorities keep slip roads lighted and safe.
