Apprenticeships should be available to all irrespective of age. After being made redundant after 35 years in employment, I would like to get go back into work quickly. However the current system does not help those with their ambitions to succeed.
There is not enough emphasis placed on helping the unemployed find work. It is unlikely unemployment will ever fall, due to the governments lack of immigration laws swamping this country with an ever increasing population.
