We the undersigned demand that Sir Richard Leese, Manchester City Council's planning department and all of it's city centre councillors be investigated for fraud, corruption and maleficence in public office.

The destruction of Century House, the granting of planning permission to demolish the Paramount Theatre and the forthcoming act of granting permission to demolish the Cornerhouse building are acts of criminal vandalism and have not been subject to the appropriate checks and balances that a council should follow.

The only possible explanation for their continued destruction of Manchester's heritage and mismanagement of our public transport is corruption, and must be investigated as such.
