• There are a large number of former ministers and civil servants who, on leaving office, become employed as advisors, or are appointed to governing bodies of private companies involved in the sectors related to the minister’s or civil servant's former responsibilities. There should be either an outright ban of this practice, or prevention of employment or appointment for a minimum of ten years after leaving office.
