Petition Means test Disability benefits and support
More details
There should be an element of Means testing in the provision of Disability benefits, grants and support.
It is ridiculous that someone who is worth £40 million (Katie Price) can get a Driver, a Nurse (a Nanny really) for her child, and it is all paid for by taxpayers (the majority of whom are on piddling incomes) at the cost of £1,000.00 per day.
This is without the fact that KP is probably getting other disability grants or equipment as well as Disability Living Allowance for her son as well (so pushing the bill up even further).
There is not an endless pit of money so it has to be targeted to those in most need AND who cannot afford to pay for it themselves.
It should all be means-tested.
