Closed petition Royal Air Force AIP re-payment
Closed on
We urge the government to write off or accept the losses of RAF personal who had Accerlated Incremental Progression (AIP) authorised by a chain of unit P-Staff across the RAF but retrospectively to have been found to be mis-authroised by the P-Staff.
Previous precedence has been set where HM Treasury has written off pay irregularities/mistakes since the inception of JPA for the armed forces.
We would like the government to write off these public debts as the recovery will effect individuals, possibly to the point of them leaving an already undermanned service. Their families will also be greatly effected and the image of the RAF ultimately be damaged.
