Closed Increase the care calls for homecare to a minimum of 1 hour

We request that the Government implements a minimum time duration for all home care calls, preferably a minimum of 1 hour.

Current call times do not reflect the time required to offer a level of quality care service. Many authorities currently contract for 15 minute calls... who can get up, dress, shower and eat breakfast in 15 minutes?

Our home care clients need to have their needs met and carers need a minimum of at least 1 hour for all calls in order to meet these needs fully.
